Afternoon teas are back at Kester House in Sedlescombe in the original tea rooms from the 1950's. Indulge yourself in gorgeous scones, savouries, pastries and cakes whilst relaxing in the sofas and leather chairs in our 400 year old sitting rooms.

The classic English tea has been enhanced as Monique adds American influences to create individual cakes, tasty scones, savouries and perfect sandwiches to grace your taste buds. A specially priced launch will take place from 3 – 5.30 pm on Saturday and Sunday 26/27th November and again on Saturday and Sunday 17/18th December, so come along and sample the delicious tea menus.  A glass of sparkling wine will greet your arrival before tea is served.

Our Teas menu choices are:
The Tithe Barn tea  – A three tiered serving of sandwiches, scones and individual cakes or pastries.
The Kester House Tea -  A two tiered serving of savouries and individual cakes
The Kester Sampler Tea – A mix of scones and individual cakes as you decide for a lighter bite.

All are served with a choice of Darjeeling or English tea, coffee or chocolate, topped up for as long as you wish.
