Kester House is a Grade II listed property built in the 1600's and located in the East Sussex village of Sedlescombe. This picturesque conservation village has many 14th, 15th and 16th century houses lining the main street. We are near Hastings and Rye, with several castles, beautiful gardens and historic houses, all within a 20 minute drive. The perfect base to explore Kent & Sussex.
We have 3 rooms in our 4 star highly commended B&B. One with a four poster bed and en-suite, one with a private sitting room and bathroom and the third is a small double with its own shower room. You will find all our rooms are designed for your comfort, with contemporary bathrooms that complement the period features. Each room captures a different aspect of the old world charm and the historic character of Kester House. Our guest sitting room has an open fire and the adjacent dining room leads to a courtyard garden. Once you have rested, we can help plan your visit to the local attractions and suggest places to eat, including a Michelin Star restaurant just a few miles away.
Our award winning breakfast gives you complete choice from cereals to cooked options with local organic fruit juices and home-made muffins. Monique occassionally calls on her American origins when providing a daily cooked special.
At Kester House, we want your stay to be relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable so that you take away wonderful memories to return again soon.
